The Shrine of the Black Madonna Sanctuary and its volunteers should benefit from each other in volunteer services. We want student volunteers to receive academic credits for their participation and to learn useful skills as interns. Volunteer hours given by adults and youth for our volunteer organization speaks volumes for both the organization and for the volunteers committed to improve their community and to serve where their contributions are most needed. The take away or benefit is a more self sufficient and unified community.

Double Dutch is a game in which two long jump ropes turning in opposite directions are jumped simultaneously by one or more players. It is no surprise this game is geared to our younger members. This game is fun, requires conditioning, endurance, a knowledge of physics, and a mastering of skills & techniques. True to our mission, we are planning for these events and positive activities to contribute to enduring life habits and character.

We understand that changing the environment and expanding the world through cultural and educational tours of museums, colleges, universities and historical sites can permanently transform persons for the better. This helps open doors and provide opportunities that otherwise would not be there for the persons we serve.  These events will assist us in our mission of offering continuous improvement and growth for the individual and community.
