Chaplain Appreciation Award

Congratulations to Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Harris!

The Fauquier Baptist Church family and friends extend heartfelt congratulations to Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Harris, Pastor of Jerusalem Baptist Church, on receiving an award from the Goochland County Sheriff’s Office in recognition of his dedicated service and contributions to our community.

At Fauquier Baptist Church, we believe in supporting our community leaders and celebrating fellow church leaders who make a positive difference in the lives of others and throughout our community.

This is what community love is all about—recognizing service, celebrating accomplishments, supporting one another, and showing that our churches stand together in unity and love!

Congratulations again, Rev. Dr. Harris! May God continue to bless you as you lead, serve, and inspire others.

With love and appreciation,
Fauquier Baptist Church Family & Friends

I am excited to share that I am a co-author of the inspirational book Through the Storm, featuring my chapter titled “Two Steps, God Takes Ten.”

My chapter shares my personal journey of faith, military service, family, adversity, and resilience. Through life’s unexpected storms, health challenges, and difficult experiences, I have learned that even when we can only take two steps forward, God can take ten on our behalf.

This book brings together powerful stories of individuals who have faced life’s storms and found the strength to persevere. My hope is that my testimony reminds others that storms may challenge us, but they do not have to define us. With faith, courage, and perseverance, we can rise above them.
