Minister Bertha Jackson Recognized for 30 Years

Rev. Bertha Jackson holds the plaque presented to her on Sunday, July 28, 2024 during the regular 10 a.m. service during which she preached from the topic “A Relationship with Jesus, not Man Made Rituals”. She was being recognized for preaching the gospel for 30 years. It was on a Friday night at 8 p.m. on July 8, 1994 that then Sister Bertha delivered her initial sermon with Fauquier Baptist Church packed to capacity. Ten guest ministers were on hand as the FBC Gospel Chorus performed. The topic of her first sermon was “Must Jesus Bear the Cross Alone?”
