On Thursday, August 15, 2024, the youth of the church had their summer outing just before going back to school. They had breakfast at the church and then headed to Kings Dominion at 10 a.m. They also enjoyed a delicious meal at Burger King after a fun day at the amusement park. A number of adults helped with the outing. Trip coordinator Kelvin Woodson, who together with Mike Thomas, were in charge of the pre-teen boys. Carolyn Carter and her mother looked after the pre-teen girls. Vickie & Frankie Jackson and Yvette McDermott Thomas took responsibility for those 7-10.
