Despite rainy skies, the Beulah Baptist Sunday School Annual May Day Celebration was a tremendous success on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at the Goochland Recreational Center. Under the leadership of Sunday School President Chris Waddy, children, youth, and adults gathered together for a day filled with fun, fellowship, games, delicious food, and community spirit. This cherished annual event brought together members from numerous churches throughout the area, creating a festive atmosphere despite the less-than-ideal weather conditions. Laughter, smiles, and excitement could be seen throughout the day as attendees participated in activities designed for all ages. The event also provided an opportunity for old friends to reconnect and for church families to strengthen relationships with one another.
Members of Fauquier Baptist Church proudly showed their support and were well represented throughout the celebration. Their presence reflected the strong bonds of fellowship and unity shared among neighboring churches and communities. The success of this year’s event once again demonstrated that a little rain cannot dampen the joy that comes from fellowship, faith, and community. Organizers and attendees alike are already looking forward to an even greater May Day Celebration next year.
