2026 Fall Night & Day Citizens’ Academy Goochland County Sherriff Office

If anyone is interested in learning more about the Goochland County Sheriff’s Office and the services they provide, now is your opportunity! The 2026 Fall Citizens’ Academy is now accepting applications. Day and evening classes are available, and participants will enjoy informative presentations, demonstrations, and even the opportunity for a deputy ride-along upon completion.

Registration deadline: August 9, 2026. Seating is limited, so be sure to register early. Please see additional information and contact details below.

  • Night Classes: Tuesdays, 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
    • August 25 – November 10
  • Day Classes: Wednesdays, 1:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
    • August 26 – November 11
