Despite the rain, 46 people attended our fourth Prayer Breakfast! We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our worship leader, Sister Thomesana Cook of Shady Grove Baptist Church, and our guest ministers, who shared meaningful messages:
- Minister Celelia Lewis, Jerusalem Baptist Church: “All to Be Saved” — Romans 12:2 and Matthew 7:1.
- Minister Louise Faulkner, Abner Baptist Church: “Our Children, Our World” — 1 John 3:7 and Matthew 19:14–15.
- Minister Z. T. Lee, St. James Baptist Church: “Our Sisters and Their Strength Worldwide” — Proverbs 31:16–18, 26; and “Unity in the Body of Christ” — 1 Corinthians 12:1.
Each speaker blessed us with words of encouragement and faith. We also delivered 15 meals to members who are sick, shut-in, elderly, or unable to get out as often as they would like. What a blessing it is to serve others and remind them that they are loved and remembered.
Prayer strengthens our faith, unites our hearts, and moves us to care for one another. May we continue to lift each other up in prayer and put God’s love into action. We look forward to our fifth year of prayer, fellowship, and service! Pictures provided through link below.
